Robin Thicke's deposition for his ongoing lawsuit with Marvin Gaye's kids—who allege that his hit "Blurred Lines" was a rip-off of their father's famous "Got to Give It Up"—was extremely candid, to say the least. When Thicke's song came into question, specifically the similarities with Gaye's track, he admitted that despite his earlier interviews, he didn't come up with the song whatsoever and has limited memory of recording it.

The crooner admitted that he was "high on Vicodin and drunk on alcohol" during every single interview he did last year, adding, "I had a drug and alcohol problem for the year and I didn't do a sober interview. So I don't recall many things that I said." Thicke confessed that he took the credit for the song "because after making six albums that I wrote and produced myself, the biggest hit of my career was written and produced by somebody else and I was jealous and I wanted some of the credit."
