Tory Burch Spring/Summer 2016 Video - New York

CEO and creative director Tory Burch has build a fashion empire worth over $1 billion dollars, according to Forbes. Her abundant success can be attributed to her in-depth knowledge of her client, her desires, her struggles and what she needs in the moment. The mother of three is also a big believer in the feng shui philosophy, delivering a collection this season that’s both harmonious and versatile for the everyday. Guipure lace, a constant throughout the line and a strong trend this season, was presented in abundance, most notably on a blue sheath dress with contrasting orange reseau, which felt bold but wearable in the classic shape. The same could be said for the floor-length yellow version, so vibrant and chic it almost had an exotic element to it. The surprise of the collection came in the iridescent floral jacquards and soft cellophane-like organza, which added a fresh, tropical flavor to the collection. A high slit, strapless, ankle length jacquard gown with matching shoes and tribal jewelry near the end of the show, was the epitome of harmonious elegance. This season, through easy silhouettes and a palate of sky blues, vibrant oranges and classic neutrals, Tory Burch advises her woman to relax, have fun and find beauty in the unexpected.
